Why the 4 week wait?

We know in this day and age, 4 weeks is like an eternity.  But we’re making our shirts to-order, meaning they’re being made just for you.  So there’s minimal waste, and zero chance you’ll see us burning unsold shirts. 

You’ll get updates on your order so you’ll always know where it is in the process. 

Let us know if you have any questions or concerns, and we’ll do our best to convince you that it will be worth it.  Because anything worth having is worth waiting for, right?

Why just the 1 color, why just the 3 styles?

Everything we do is intentional and thoughtful. 

The 3 pieces we are launching with- the tee, the shawl and the polo- are going to be the workhorses of your wardrobe.  They are the DNA of our brand, and will become essentials of your closet. 

We also chose just one color to launch with because it’s the best shade of grey (grey being the most versatile color in any wardrobe, in our opinion).  It’s dark enough to feel slightly more than just casual, and it can be worn with jeans, chinos, joggers- you name it. We’d like to insert a “50 Shades of Grey” joke here, but we won’t.

How do I wash my shirts?

To maintain your shirt, machine wash in cold water, lay flat to dry.

Does General Issue ship internationally?

Can I make changes to my order?

Once your order has been placed, we are unable to make any changes to the product (size, quantity, etc).  If you need to change your shipping address, please email us immediately at ask@shopgeneralissue.com

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payments from Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club, Apple Pay, Paypal and Amazon Payments.

What is your return/exchange policy?

If you’d like to initiate a return, email us with your order number to ask@shopgeneralissue.com and we’ll be happy to help.

We accept returns in new condition with original tags for a full refund. You have 21 days from the ship date to have your return postmarked to the carrier on your label.

Currently we do not offer exchanges. We suggest returning your current items and placing a new order.

Shipping fees are non-refundable and will not be included in your refund.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you if your return is accepted or declined. Processing your refund can take up to 1-3 business days. If your return is accepted, your refund will be processed and applied to the original payment method.Note that refunds can take up to 7-10 business days to appear on your bank account due to varying processing times between financial organizations.
